About Us


Kirby Seid, founder of The Light Labyrinth Project, has taught Light Labyrinth and Holotope workshops around the world, including The Omega Institute and the Edgar Cayce ARE Institute in New York. He has traveled the earth for crystals and ancient artifacts and has taught crystal seminars and designed tools for shamanic practices with his global mineral business for the past 25 years. 


Kirby has a B.A. degree in psychology, and has studied spirituality, meditation and inner journey work for over 35 years. He is dedicated to teaching people about new technologies combined with ancient tools for the exploration of consciousness through beauty and co-creation.  Randall Fontes, creator of the Holotope, has been studying light and meditation for over 45 years. From his very first memories he was fascinated with light, and has spent most of his life researching the scientific and mystical applications of light and color. California. He has a Masters in Psychology from California State University Sonoma in conjunction with Stanford Research Institute, where he was also a guest researcher invited by Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ in the laboratory which was known for developing the“Remote Viewing” protocol. Randall’s extensive research and development with light, and his work on “The Secret Life of Plants” movie landed him on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson”, “The David Susskind Show” and the NBC special “Wild Sciences”. 


Randall spent many years designing interactive exhibits for The Exploratorium in San Francisco and manufactured laser projectors with stroboscopic color and images and biofeedback systems for Sculptured Light and Biosensory Systems in California, and developed the first Resonant Light Projector in 1975. The Holotope artwork and Light Meditation is a culmination of his many years of research in meditation, somatic bodywork and color readings with individuals and groups. Darren Gibbs, light labyrinth software designer, is a very creative innovator and programmer extraordinaire. He is a performance artist and musician. Darren has been experimenting at the intersection of sound, technology, and consciousness for many years.  He has both studied and taught visual arts and music technology at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, and studied electronic music as a graduate student at Mills College in Oakland, California.  


For the past fifteen years, Darren has been involved in technology and multimedia projects at various Bay Area companies from Purple Moon Media to Apple Computer.  Darren continues to create music, sound sculpture, and intermedia performances as well as pursue studies in Tai Chi, sound healing, meditation, yoga and shamanic healing.



Christopher Harris, our “Super-tech”, has been involved in the electronics industry for the last 15 years, in R&D and as an electronics instructor.  Along with hand construction of each Light Labyrinth, Christopher has the uncanny ability to handle everything else we throw at him, from producing plaster replicas or mineral photography to customer support and custom installation. He says, “It’s like coming to work in a jelly bean factory.”



Rebekka is a personal and business coach, hypnotherapist and writer/designer. She has been involved in The Light Labyrinth and Project for many years, marketing, consulting and co-designing and writing events and seminars and the Light Labyrinth and Holotope guidebooks. She previously taught Vision Team workshops for 12 years. She has managed, consulted and owned small businesses and retail stores, and taught in innovative programs for special needs children.
